Dressometry Dress Giveaway!

Spring is in the air. In the Northwest, the Tulip fields have opened (literally huge fields of just tulips!), the cherry blossoms have all bloomed, and we've been seeing warmer days. My favorite element of transitioning into spring is being able to bring out all of my dresses and skirts - nothing makes me feel prettier than a nice dress! Dressometry, an online site that helps girls find the perfect dress for them, is hosting a giveaway to win one of the dresses shown below! 

The giveaway beings today (April 6th) and runs until April 13th at 5 pm (Eastern). Enter the giveaway here for your chance to win! All of the dresses in the giveaway are perfect for special events this summer, like weddings and parties, but can be dressed down for daily, casual wear as well! I have my eye on the lavender one - it'd be beautiful for Chris' brother's wedding this August!

No matter where I am, you will always find me with a good lotion. I love lotions, body butters, and essentially every body care product there is. Trust me, if it exists, I have it. Recently while looking through Instagram, I found The Frosting Company. After searching their site, I quickly realized I needed to get my hands on some of their products. All of their products are natural, aren't tested on animals, and are gluten, soy, paraben, sulfate, and phthalate free! 

The first time I used the body butter frosting, I fell in love. The fluffy texture instantly melts into your skin, very similar to the way coconut oil moisturizes! The smallest bit goes a long way, which is something I love with my body products. They definitely don't skimp on quality! The tin is small enough to toss in my bag and carry around with me, as well as the frosting pop, for convenience. Have I mentioned how they smell? The frosting pop has hints of coconut, chocolate (from the coca butter featured in all the products!), and citrus. The body butter has a very similar scent, but still unique and has much more coconut. And this bath bomb is exactly what I needed for a comfortable bath. I'm all about taking baths and bath bombs are such a fun way to silken up the water.

Rainy days are just asking to be spent in bed with a cup of tea and Netflix!

Are you a hood, umbrella, or both kind of girl?

We don't use umbrellas in Seattle ;)

What is your best hair tip for a rainy day?

I usually wear mine in a pony! If it's especially rainy (think: pouring), I might try to do a cute bun. I like to keep my hair tucked away under my hood so it isn't soaked by the time I get to class or work!

What's your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?

Snuggle up with Chris, make something delicious, and binge watch Modern Family.
