Weekly Goals #4


Last week was a little crazy for me. I was in bed sick, I had a lot of reading to do for my classes, my best friend who moved to New Zealand moved back, and I went on the Delts winter formal during the weekend. It was a lot! Unfortunately, I didn't fulfill my goals. The weather wasn't very nice for photos, and visiting the rec center wasn't a priority of mine. This week, though, I believe my goals will be reached.


{Study for 5 hours for my Canadian Studies midterm}

{Prepare for my internship meeting this Friday}


Even though I'm already in my second quarter of college (what?!), studying is still a struggle for me. I've made it a goal of mine to dedicate 5 hours before Wednesday morning to studying for my Canadian Studies midterm. 5 hours sounds like a lot to me, but I know compared to many others, it's nothing. I want to change my study habits so I can receive successful grades. Like the quote above, if I don't change my study habits, my grades won't improve. I also have a meeting with a woman I know this Friday in Seattle about a summer internship. I'm very excited and want to prepare myself fully for the meeting!

Weekly Goals #3

I am disappointed to say I didn't fulfill my goals of last week. Fortunately, I did get 9 hours of sleep one night, but that included being bored out of my mind + getting into bed at 10 pm (which is hard when you're in college!). I also did visit the gym this week, but only once. Oh well, there's always next week! This weeks goals:


{Visit the rec center twice this week to work out}

{Take new photos for my blog}


I've really been wanting to take new photos for my blog recently, but I keep putting it off! This week I really want to do them, and get some great quality photos done. Thankfully a friend who lives on my floor is a photographer! Yay!

Goals of the Week #1

Mondays are about going back to class, going back to work, waking up early after a weekend, and having the Monday blues. I've never been a fan of Mondays, but this weekend my boyfriend and I came up with a solution to hopefully combatting the case of the Mondays. We decided that from this week and on, we're going to set a mutual goal, one we can achieve together. Since we attend different universities, we can't physically work towards our goals together, but having someone in a similar position to you with a similar goal is a great way to keep yourself accountable. Here are our first goals for this week!


{Do one thing outside of our comfort zones this week, stepping into our growth zones, but not our panic zones.}

{Visit the gym/school rec center at least once this week.}


It's important to remember that goals like this should be realistic and practical. Stepping out of my comfort zone once this week is realistic for me, not once every day. Same with working out: I've never been very athletic or fit, so making the goal of visiting the rec center once this week is a great start for me. Taking baby steps is the perfect path to success!
