Meet Connie

Hi there! I'm Connie, or Constance, whichever you prefer. I'm a 20 year old blogger based in the greater Seattle area. I originally started my blog, previously Prep Northwest, as a creative outlet and something for me to focus on while at school. It has now evolved to be a fashion and lifestyle blog that focuses on celebrating everything life has to offer! 

Constance Browne is a blog that highlights the positive aspects of life. Here I share my favorite beauty and skin products, outfit inspirations, travel recommendations, DIY projects, and everything in between. This blog is about empowering young women and creating healthy, encouraging relationships, instead of feeding into a competition-driven attitude. 

Why did you change your blog name?

I changed my blog name from Prep Northwest to be self titled, Constance Browne. When I originally created this blog, the focus was preppy fashion and college. This blog was intended to be a safe, creative space for me to focus on while away at school. Prep Northwest was a name to showcase the preppy elements of this blog, but also incorporate my location (the Pacific Northwest). As my blog and I grew, I realized that Prep Northwest is a very limiting name, especially that I am not really that preppy. Being raised in the PNW my whole life, I am rooted here and my style reflects that. I do still love that preppy, southern style, but I didn't want my blog name to discourage me from posting anything outside of the "preppy lifestyle".
