Mad for Plaid Lookbook: Look #2

I'm back with another plaid look! If you missed my first look, you can click here to view it! This look makes me feel warm and cozy, the perfect look to stay in and watch a movie! I especially love these leggings (which I wear all the time) and these socks - the time for long socks is always.

Cheers to being comfy cozy this winter!

Mad for Plaid Lookbook: Look #1

I recently purchased this flannel top from Hollister Co. a few weeks ago. I'm absolutely in love! I love the color and the fit - I've worn it too often since I bought it. I put together a few looks on styling this top in a casual way! Hope you enjoy!

Glamorous Stocking Stuffers on a Budget!

one  ||  two  ||  three  ||  four  ||  five

As the holiday season approaches, I definitely understand the stress that is giving the perfect gift! Being a college student without a steady job, buying gifts for the loved ones in my life can be a difficult task. Thankfully I realized that statement necklaces, the perfect year round trend, have become so popular that they must be on everyone's holiday wish lists this year! Here are a few necklaces I found online that are beautiful, without breaking the bank. I might have to pick up a few for myself!

Cheers to giving the perfect gift!

Falling for Autumn

I've never been a person to like the fall or winter seasons. In the PNW where I live, it's just too cold for me and I hate being in all this rain! But, for some unknown reason, I've had a change of heart this year. I am actually enjoying this autumn. I love seeing all the trees turn colors and lose their leaves. I've enjoyed walking through the crisp, cold air and bundling up to stay warm! It's been a good fall - hopefully this love for it will stick for years to come. Here are a few photos I've snapped recently that have made me appreciate fall in the PNW.

Cheers to turning a new leaf!

Friday Fives: Flower Edition

I am a sucker for flowers. I adore them! Flowers brighten everything up and are absolutely beautiful. Ralph Waldo Emerson once said that "the earth laughs in flowers." It couldn't be more true. Here are a few of my favorite flower photographs that I've pinned on Pinterest or found on Tumblr!

If you know the sources to any of these photos, PLEASE let me know in the comments!

Cheers to flowers and to the weekend!

Back to Europe

Two summers ago, the summer of 2012 before my senior year of high school, I was given the opportunity to travel for a month through Europe. The program was led by a teacher, who is also a close friend's dad, and another teacher at our "sister school" who have been taking groups of high school students to Europe for the past 20 or so years. I was lucky enough to go with my best friend and a handful of other close friends. Lately, I've been very "homesick" for traveling and being in Europe during the summer months. I always consider going back but realistically, I won't be able to afford it for a couple of years. These were some of my favorite places and photos from my trip! Beware - there are a LOT of photos!

Thursday Thoughts: Giving Thanks Edition

It's never too early to give thanks, right? Here are some of the things I'm extremely grateful for this year.

1. Making a great group of friends at college, and becoming closer to my roommate Lindsey!

2. But getting to keep the amazing friends I have back home (and my lovely boyfriend in the city).

3. Having an amazing family (despite how mad or frustrated we get with each other)

4. Having the opportunity to further my education and attend a university right out of high school.

5. Living in a dorm room where I was able to buy almost everything I own in it myself.

Thanksgiving is a nice reminder to be thankful for the every day things we have and get to experience. I hope you all have something to be thankful for this holiday, and every other day of the year.

Cheers!
